CAVEO
Caveo is a tokenised debit card issued by Federated Co-Operative Multi-Purpose Society exclusively to its members and serves as a vehicle of transaction between two or more persons without geographic barriers. Through the agency programme of the society, it is possible to use the Caveo for international payments at agent terminals.

Over the years, the society has been moving away from cash handling and presently, no longer handles physical cash from its members. All payments and collections are done in an electronic environment either as self-service or at an agent’s kiosk.

Caveo is denominated in gold, and has two faces of transaction: (a) direct debit to Transaction Account, and (b) pre-paid card preloaded with gold tokens in the Ghanaian Cedi.
